Brunetta L. Brown, age 80, went home to be with the Lord November 17, 2021.  She was born April 25, 1941 in Canton, Ohio to the late Etheleen Gantlin and the late Roy James Lockett.

Brunetta attended McKinley Senior High School.  She loved her Bulldogs.  She was a season ticket holder for football and basketball for many years.  She attended St. Pauls Church until she became ill.

Brunetta loved to host Christmas Eve parties and family cookouts at her home every year.  Being with family was something she cherished.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Matt Brown;  daughters, Denise Thompson and Tonya Jeffries; sister, Cheryl Gantlin; brothers, Richard Lockett and Ronald Lockett.

She leaves to cherish her beloved memories her daughters, Theresa Thompson and Theodora "Chubby" (Frank) Skillern; (10) grandchildren, Chaunte, Alicia, DeMarcus, Jeffrey, Frank, Michael, Tiana, Ashley, Lee, and Tyrona; (2) best friends/sisters, Ann Burt and Doris Turner; special daughters, Mona Laury, Sherill "Tiny" Williams, and Vicky Hall as wells as a host of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
