Brodrick Douglas Brown"Brock" transitioned from this life at St Francis Downtown in South Carolina on Saturday, May 31st, 2025. He was born September 9,1958 in Pell City, Alabama to the late Travis Brown and Margaret Houston Brown. He lived in Alabama until he was 7 and moved to Cleveland Ohio, living with his Grandma.

He lived in Cleveland until 1991 until him and the love of his life moved in together in Massillon, Ohio. My Mom had a son, Louis , that my Dad took in as his own.

Brock lived a good life, taking care of home and dedicated to his wife and kids. My Mom couldn't walk and talk from 1997 until her time of her passing on December 16,2021.

Brock was a family man. He did everything he could for us and everyone around us. My Dad was known as "Pops of the Hood" . He was a true Brown's fan. He was very devoted to every single neighborhood we lived in. He was very loved and cherished by many. He especially had a special place in his heart for his Grandchildren. He helped raise them.

Preceded in death by his Mother and Father Travis Brown and Margaret Houston Brown,  Wife Doris Annette Brown and brothers Dwayne, Isaiah, Felix and Elliot(Big Brown) and Beanies twin sister.

He leaves to cherish his daughter Keondra Brown-Dixon of Canton,Ohio , son Louis Dixon of Massillon, Ohio, Grandchildren Cierra Dixon, Tierra Dixon , Malik Dixon, Mariah Dixon ,Ky'Zaia Dixon, Ky'Launa Brown-Dixon, Malvin Powell the 4th and Malachi Powell , great grandchild Ja'Cier Dixon, all of Ohio.

Also surviving are sisters Yolande(Michael) Allen of Greenville, South Carolina, Belvine"Beanie" Brown of Mauldin,South Carolina, Bernadette (Chris Todd) Brown of Simpsonville,and special daughter Quanise Purdy (Denarel) Shipman, special niece Amber Drummond. Nephews,  Michael and Kevin( Claudia) Allen , Cameron Brown, Austin Bush, Germarco Tate, and niece Sasha Green . Great nieces Estiny Allen, Malaya Sanders, Andraya Allen,Shy Brown Haven Green and Heavenly Swain.Great nephews Kevin Allen Jr , Michael Allen III, Ayden Drummond and Jayson Drummond ,Amari Swain , Keiston Swain and great nephew Kevin Allen III . Special brother Danny McCall followed by several special friends and special sisters, nieces , nephews and God kids.

To know Brock is to love him. He will be loved and missed by all.
