Brian Kevin Jones "Bubba" was born in Barberton, Ohio on March 4, 1964. He went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at his residence. At an early age, Kevin accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. He was a member of the Greater Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, attended Bible Study regularly and served on the Usher Board. He graduated from Barberton High School in 1982 and majored in Auto Mechanics. Kevin was a "Jack of All Trades" and repaired many plumbing problems just like his grandfather, the late Willie R. Jones. He was employed by ODOT until ill health prevented him from working. He attended Akron University, majoring in Computer Programming. Kevin was a gentle giant of a man; soft spoken with a kind heart. He never forgot a birthday and the cards that were chosen were especially written for you. He had a great sense of humor; protected, provided and loved his family. Brian Kevin is preceded in death by his grandfather, Willie R. Jones and is survived by his mother, Joanna L. (Charles) Starks, Akron; grandmother, Lula B. Jones; sister, Cherrian Jones, Barberton; uncle, Norman (Shirley) Jones; (cousins Wanda and Somora) aunt, Jennie Moore, Akron; (cousins Jai (Trina) Moore, Adam Moore), Columbus OH; special cousin Mike (Carrie) Hood, Akron, and special siblings, Liz Eaves, Charles Starks, Jr., Akron; Denine Woodson, Newnan, GA,  and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives, family and friends.
