Bobby Lee Smith was born August 17,1940 to Peter James and Ella Smith in DeKalb County, Georgia.

Bobby was the first of seven kids.  He went to Rollin Senior High School, and then to East Tech of Cleveland, Ohio.  He retired from Akron Tire Supply Company in 1991.  He joined church at an early age at the Good Hope Baptist Church, under the guidance of Rev. Caldwell.  He was on the Nurse's Guild where he served faithfully.  He was an avid bowler. He belonged to the National Bowler Association, and also a member of the USBC Bowling League.  His favorite past time was fishing and camping.

Bobby married the love of his life, Agnes Bell on August 15, 1959.  From their union were born Crystal Daniel from Lithonia, Georgia, Doreatha (Mack) Davis from Detroit, Michigan, Tracy Smith from Akron, Ohio, Stacy (Melinda) Smith from Jonesboro, Georgia, and Lavone (Craig) Cunningham from Akron, Ohio.  He leaves behind to cherish his memory, 18 Grandchildren, 36 Great Grandchildren, and 5 Great-Great Grandchildren, Brothers, Sisters, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, and Sister-in-Laws.

His best friends will miss him the most, Ernest and Isabell McCalister, Charles and Renay Edmond, and Bean E.
