Bobbie Lucille Howard was born March 22, 1942 to Timothy Warthen, Jr. and Rosie Mae Warthen in Bartow, Georgia. Later her family moved to Autumn, Ohio where she graduated from Hoover High School in 1960 and went on to attend Stark State College. She went home to be with the Lord on January 13, 2017 at Woodlawn Hospice in Canton, Ohio. Lucille was united in holy matrimony to Robert Louis Howard, Sr. and to this union was born two sons and a daughter; Robert Louis, Jr., Ricky D. and Tonya Renee Howard. Lucille was the first black female employed by the J.M. Smucker Co. in Orville, Ohio. She retired from the Hoover Company after thirty years plus. At an early age she was baptized at First Baptist Church in Aultman, Ohio, where she sang in the choir. In later years, she joined Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Canton, Ohio , where she faithfully served as an usher. Lucille was also a member of the Juneites Society Club. Lucille enjoyed fishing, playing card games and visiting the casinos. Making her yard look beautiful was her passion. Most of all she loved being a steward for God and loved her family dearly. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents Timothy, Jr. and Rosie Mae Warthen; husband,  Robert Louis Howard, Sr. Leaving to cherish her memory are her children; Robert L. Howard, Jr. (Stacey Larsuel), Rick D. Howard (Tricia Kovac), and Tonya Renee Hubbard (Kevin Hubbard), Eric Short (Liz), Donald Short (Monica), and Doug Short. Her sisters Willie Alice Campbell, Della Knight, Maebell Warthen and Jo Ann Boyd; brother-in-law, Ronald Boyd; special sister, Stacey Chandler Daniels; aunts, Annie Mae Daniels and Swedum Corley; grandchildren, Robert Louis Howard III, Erica Fiorito, Shanelle Howard, Zachery Seeden, Chelsie Howard, Garretson Seeden, Lamont Howard, and (8)great-grandchildren; special friends, Mae Young, Bell Cutler and Bernard Tarver as well as  a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends
