Bobbi Jean Walker Thomas, age 63, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, June 7, 2016 after an extended illness. Bobbi was born June 28, 1952 to the late James Walker and N.L. Walker both of Canton. She was an active faithful member of Antioch Baptist Church. Bobbi worked diligently with Sisters United   Ministry Luncheon and headed the monthly birthday acknowledgements. She was dedicated to the legacy of "We Love Our Neighborhood" the non profit   organization founded by her brother the late Russell Walker, Sr. She loved     being the head of the family in making sure she kept everyone together earning her the nickname "The Warden". Bobbi was a loving mother of two sons        Ahmad (Buzzi) Faheem and Dalon Thomas both of Canton, a dedicated grandmother to John Malik Allen of Atlanta, NyJai Byrd, Thameenah Faheem,         Tae Chawn Edmonson and Qasim Faheem all of Canton, Bobbi truly adored her four great grandchildren Ja'Promise Smith, Sir Marion Babb, Al' Lana Dotson and Demeco Ware all of Canton. Preceded in death by; brothers, Arlandis Walker, Russell Walker, Duane Walker all of Canton. She leaves to cherish her     precious memories her sons and grandchildren; brothers, Henry Hodges,      Lavurnes Walker, Doyle (Marcella)Walker, Steven (Dawn) Walker, Cary (Michelle) Walker, and baby sister Stacy Walker; special friends, Dwight (Buzzi) Thomas, Sr., Peggy Wells and Arnold Dick; special sisters, Ramona, Gail,    Gloria and Cheryl all of Canton as well as a host of family and friends.
