William (Billy Joe) Jeter Mr. Billy Jeter was born, March 1, 1960 to the late Mrs. Bernether  R. Jeter and Willie George McClain, in Canton, Ohio. He departed this life on January 18, 2017 after a brief illness. Billy accepted Christ at an early age and carried his faith for 56 years with Union Baptist Church. He was a Veteran serving in the US Army from 1978-1982 and then was employed by Dawkins Construction for many years. He exemplified the greatest gift of love to all he encountered. He is preceded in death by his parents, his two sisters; Shirley Jeter and Linda Jeter both of Canton, Ohio grandparents, Earlene Adams and Robert McClain of Union, SC. Billy leaves to cherish and hold his memories with his brother Robert Whitlow and sister Louvenia Whitlow, two sons Billy Jeter and Marcus Jeter, two daughters Tiffany Mabry and Shauntae Ewing also five other children that he loved and cared about dearly; Tamara, Nicki, Pete, Carlie and Anthony all of Canton, Ohio; 32 grandchildren, 1 great grandson; nephews, Samuel Jeter, Kevin Dawkins, Isaac Whitlow, and James Jeter. His extended family: Henderson, McClain, Taylor and Dawkins. Special friends whose lives he touched were Frankie D, Tia Williams, Michelle, Toni, Priscilla Thomas, and Denny. He will be missed dearly.
