Beverly Lashawn Vinson, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend, departed this life on March 4, 2025, and was called to her eternal home. A native of Akron, Ohio, Beverly was born to Beverly Wallace and the late Horace Lee Vinson Jr.

Beverly worked diligently for many years in various positions, where she earned the respect and admiration of those she worked with. Her work ethic and kindness left a lasting impact on all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Horace L. Vinson Jr., grandparents, Dia K. Wali "Lacy Wallace, Sr." and Horace L Vinson Sr and Sarah Vinson and her brothers, Demetrus R. Vinson and Horace L. Lee.

Beverly leaves behind to cherish her memory her three children: Demetreannah Leeann Vinson, Reggie Deshawn Jones, and Beverly Reginae Jones, all of Akron, OH; her mother, Beverly A. Wallace of Columbus, OH; her grandmother, Shirley Wallace of Akron, OH; five siblings: Katrina D. Lee of Akron, OH, Carmon C. Lee of Akron, OH, Omar D. Wallace (Amaris) of Columbus, OH, Horace L. Vinson (Jessica) of Woodbridge, VA, and Lacion A Wallace of Akron, OH. She also leaves a special aunt, Toni Williamson-Wallace of Akron, OH, uncles Anthony Vinson of Akron, OH, Lacy Wallace (Lolita) of Urbancrest, OH, and Spencer Wallace of Akron, OH, a special cousin, Keysha Parker of Akron, OH, along with eleven nieces and nephews and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Beverly's warmth, laughter, and love will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her. While her time with us was far too short, her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.

A private service to celebrate her life will be held by her family at 2nd Baptist Church, 690 South Main Street, Akron, Ohio, 44311, on Friday, 14 March 2025 at 1100am. Repass to follow at Joy Park Community Center, 825 Fuller St, Akron, OH 44306.
