Beverly Ann Tyler-Owens, affectionately known as "Bebee" went home to be with The Lord on July 18, 2023.

Born to Johnny Lee Tyler and Cellia Mae Tyler on April 30, 1960, she attended Akron Public Schools and graduated from Buchtel High School in 1979.  After High School, Beverly relocated to Los Angeles, CA where she attended El Comino College and obtained her associate degree and later employed with the United States Census Bureau.

Beverly had a very determined spirit, and she was not afraid to try new things.  Although she was born in Akron, OH, she also called Tacoma, WA and Concord, NC her home.  While living in Tacoma, she held office and was an active worker in The Labor Union.

Here grandchildren, whom she assisted in raising, were the love of her life.  She also had a passion for cooking and watching The Food Network and The Lifetime Channel.

She was proceeded in death by her parents; Johnny Lee and Cellia Mae Tyler, brothers; Durand and Johnny (Junior) Tyler, sisters; Roslyn Tyler and Christine Jordan.

Beverly leaves to cherish her memory, beloved daughter; Brandi Tyler, husband; Gerald Owens, beloved beautiful grandchildren; Imoni Tyler-Best, Makayla Tyler and Jameir Tyler of North Carolina, Carleeto Tyler Makhi Tyler, Jazele and Jazmen Tyler, and Angeyl Young of Akron, Ohio; sisters, Mary Ann Weems of Akron, Ohio, Francine Jordan of North Carolina and Brenda Long of Tacoma, WA; best friends Karma Clayton, Treva Johnson and Jackie Weems of Akron, Ohio and Charlotte Jones of Upland, California; and a host of beautiful nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
