Beverly Jean (Saddler) Williams' Obituary

Beverly Jean Williams (Saddler), 73, went home to be with the Lord on November 7, 2025, at Aultman Hospital. She was born on August 26, 1952, in Akron, Ohio, to Belvery Edward and Hattie Mae Saddler. Beverly received her education through Akron Public Schools and was a proud graduate of Akron South High School. She was an avid sports fan dedicated to the Cleveland Cavaliers and Cleveland Browns and loved a good Boxing match. Many embraced Beverly's love for cooking and everyone looked forward to her Comfort meal of Chicken and Dumplings. On May 4, 1999, Beverly married her true love, John Williams. Throughout her life, she worked in various professions, including industrial factory positions, with her final and most cherished role being at Akron Summa Hospital, where she was deeply respected as a meticulous and dedicated housekeeper. Beverly's compassion and comforting nature made her a remarkable caregiver—serving faithfully and lovingly for her mother, father, brother, spouse, and many others throughout their illnesses and transitions. In 2017, she was honored by the Ohio Black Women's Leadership Caucus with the Special Caregiver Award for her extraordinary devotion. In her later years, Beverly answered the call to fully commit her life to God and Christianity. She became a devoted member of Hear the Word Ministries in Canton, Ohio, under the leadership of Apostle Dr. Anicia Clayton, where she served faithfully on the Mothers Board. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Belvery Edward and Hattie Mae Saddler; husband, John Williams; daughter, Carmila Brazil; stepson, Johnny Williams; brothers Edward Lamont (Piedmont), Reginald, and Gregory Saddler; and grandson, Shamar Brazil. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Toia Saddler; sisters Shareefah Charlotte Wahid, Doretha Saddler, and Carol Steps; brothers Ridell Saddler and Rashmair Toney; grandchildren Isaiah (India) Nixon, Jamar Saddler, Bobby Jackson, Elisha James, Cearia Rasha Primes, Rashawn Brazil, Demetrius Brazil, Terrell Brazil, and Antwon Brazil; 22 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends whom she loved and nurtured. She will be deeply missed by her Sister friend, Thelma Solomon. A Special Thank You to Aultman Hospital ICU for the Special care provided to Beverly. Beverly's legacy of love, service, and faith will live on in all who were blessed to know her.
