Beverly E. Parson-Stevenson, 63, went home to be with the Lord on February 28, 2015. She was born in Saginaw, Michigan on March 2, 1951. She was a lifetime resident of the Akron community. Beverly is preceded in death by her parents, Alexander and Marilyn Parson; siblings Alexander Jr. and Wayne. She leaves to cherish her loving memory children, Johnnie Solomon, Marcus Stevenson (Jolene), Keye Solomon (Dana), Wayne Stevenson and Leeuna Stevenson; brothers, Tommie Parson, Cornelius (Charlene) Parson; sister, Zelda Parson; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Home Going celebration will be held on Friday, March 6, 2015 at 12 noon at  Macedonia Baptist Church 940 McKinley Ave Akron, Ohio 44306. Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until time of service. Interment at Mt. Peace Cemetery. Pastor Lorenzo Glenn, Officiating.
