Beverly Joyce Nicholson, went home to be with the Lord on March 31, 2018 after a long battle with Alzheimers. She was an active member of Greater Bethel Apostolic Church for over 40 years. She retired from Mercy Medical Center in 2007 after 33 years of service. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Elder Clayton Nicholson; grandmother, Mary Bell Prentice; father, Earnest Higgins and mother, Dovie Higgins; brother, William and Wendal Higgins; sister, Dorothy Higgins and granddaughter, Tara Lynn Viney-Hill. Joyce is survived by her children, Eric C. Viney, Tracy L. (Moses) Williams, Jacqueline R. Cobb; sister, Jennifer Higgins, brother, Bobby Higgins; from the Nicholson marriage united the children of David, Jill, Clayton (Renee), Carolyn (Eric) Blackshear, Patty, Tracy, Pamela, and Sherri Nicholson; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.
