Betty Benson was born in Hamilton, Ohio to the late Ben and Jamie Benson. To this union seven children were born and Betty was the youngest.

Betty married the love of her life Robert Goodgame, and to this union five children were born.  Betty was a hard working mom and a fun loving person with a great sense of humor.  She loved to gamble but her favorite pastime was "Bingo".  She was affectionately known as "Bingo Betty".  Betty was a member of the Order of Eastern Star.  She had a smile that you can't forget.  She said what she said, and if you didn't like it tough!!!

In addition to her parents Betty is preceded in death by her siblings,   David, William, Edmond, Melvin, Fanny, Lois Jean; husband,  Robert  Lee Goodgame Sr.; son-in-law, Andre Howard.

Betty leaves to cherish her memories her children, Robin (Howard) of Jacksonville, Arkansas, Darnell of Marion, Ohio, Brenda, Robert Jr., and Yolanda Howard all of Canton, Ohio; grandchildren, Shawn (Tina), Jessie Mae (Allen), LaShana (Torrion Sr.), Terrell, LaRhonda, Tyrone (Tanisha) Dude, Sheria, Robin, Kathleen, Tacara, Nicole, and Littles; (32) great-grandchildren, Courtney (Malik), Latrice, Robert, Izanae, Howard, Tori, Melissa, Corey, Alexus, Torrion Jr., Amariah, Tyra, John II, Tyrone II, LaRya, Audreanna, Tionne, Jayden, Deymana, KhaLiyah, Robin II, La'Kayla, Naomi, Raven, Braxton, Ariella, Alaziah, Kylan, Azia, Tony, Khalani; (2) sisters-in-law, Odessa Goodgame of Cleveland, Ohio and Ethel Goodgame of New Jersey; (2) brothers, David of Memphis, Tennessee, Boo of Hamilton, Ohio;  son-in-law, Robert Trotter; special friends, Mitch, Beverly, Big L.
