Bertha Nell Solomon, age 69 passed away on Friday, June 12, 2015, after a lengthy illness. She was born on September 4, 1945 in Tocoa, Georgia to the late Thelma Burkes. She was a kind and loving mother and a loyal and dedicated companion to her dear friend and fiancé, of 10 years, Mr. Gary Vaughn, She loved to play bingo, and made many friends at the various bingo locations. She was preceded in death by her mother, brother Thomas Clark and nephew Stephen Clark. She leaves to cherish her precious memory her son, Willie "Peter" (Paula) Clark; granddaughters Paula, Venus and Lashanda Clark, 4 great grandchildren; sister–in-law Editor Clark; nieces Angelee Hawkins, Colleen Clark, Vicki Clark; nephews Thomas Clark Jr., Joseph Clark;  fiancé Gary Vaughn; stepfather Ernest Burkes and many other relatives and friends. She will deeply be missed by all who knew her.
