Bernice (Randle) Zachary was born December 16, 1947. She was received by her Heavenly Father on November 12, 2016 after a brief illness. She was born to Annie Pearl Randle and the late Johnnie Randle, Sr. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. Bernice married the love of her life, Roger Zachary, Sr. in 1965, celebrating 51 years on June 26th. Through this union, four beautiful children were born. Bernice attended McKinley High School and was employed by the Hoover Company for 32 years, retiring in 2002. She was involved in two clubs, the Co-Op Social & Civic Club and the Black Women's Leadership Caucus. As well, Bernice was a faithful member of Union Baptist Church. Bernice loved cooking and hosting elegant dinners for family and friends. She was also well known for her professional cake baking skills. Most of all, her greatest joy was spending quality time with her family. She is proceeded in death by her father and her son, Roger Zachary, Jr. She leaves to cherish her loving memories to her: devoted husband, Roger Zachary, Sr.; children, Jeffrey Zachary, Keith Zachary, Sr., Karla Zachary; grandchildren, Ontayya, Dre'Shon, Kiaira, Keith, Jr., Ramir, and Kyrie Zachary and Mala'khi Frye; sisters, Jonnie Lawson, Fannie Randle, Barbara Randle, and Brenda Randle; brothers, Johnnie (Mary) Randle, Jr. and Leslie Randle; daughter-in-laws, Arlene Zachary and Jennifer Bowers; sister-in-laws, Joyce Zachary and Connie Chavers; brother-inlaw, Artis (Stringy) Zachary; aunts, Virginia Brewer, Carolyn Zachary, Laura Zachary, Marilynn Glenn, Ann Kindell, and Francis Glenn; uncles Milton Kindell and Ferrell Kindell; special son, Jonathan Swint; special daughter, Marquise Butler; special friends, Michael and Veronica Cheek; special grandchildren, Bowers children; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
