Barb was a woman of many hats. She was very talented in the arts and had an extremely keen eye for creating immaculate pieces whether apparel, home décor, soulful meals or lovin from her oven as she so affectionally called it. Barb had a passion for sewing and designing and she took pride in her work. Every seam was perfect, every stitch in place and each piece crafted with love and steamed to perfection. Barb had a look on her face as she constructed each piece, and you could see the thought bubbles go up as she squinted one eye and said "come here" while she executed to a science. Barb had a passion for people, plants and peaceful loving moments with the family. Barb loved deeply and took on so many tasks to support and foster others, she was truly a giver at heart.
Barb sang like a hummingbird and serenaded each person in her immediate family with a special rendition of happy birthday every year that we will all miss. Barb adored her grandchildren who lovingly knew her as Suga Buga and she referred to them as her Suga babies, there was nothing that she wouldn't do for them. She positively impacted anyone that she came encounter with. Her smile was infectious, and her soft warming voice could comfort even a giant.
