Barbara Jean Thomas, affectionately known as BJ went home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 2, 2013.  Born in March of 1945 in Masonville, NJ, Barbara was a longtime resident of Pemberton Township, NJ and later moved to Akron, OH after raising her family.  A long time resident of the Spring Hill Community, she became the grandmother to the "Mothers and Others" group and served over the Spring Hill lunch program. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents Storia J. and Annie Brown, brother, Storia Brown, and sons, Christopher Brown and Linwood Thomas.  She leaves to cherish her memory, daughter, Catherine (Daran) Thomas; son Warren Brown of Akron, OH; sister, Mary Jones (MD); brothers, William (Linda) Brown (N.M.), Warren Brown (NV) and Paul (Cheri) Brown (OH); and a host of nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
