Barbara Pettiford gained her heavenly wings on Monday, August 5, 2019 at the blessed age of 81. She was born Oct. 14, 1937 in Montgomery, AL to Mack and Louis Turner and had lived in the Akron community for over 50 years. She had been employed by Jack Horner's Restaurant and retired from Western Reserve Hospital. She is survived by sisters, Mary Joseph and Harriet Brown; brothers, Carver Turner, Thomas Turner and Charles Turner and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
