Ashley Munford, age 33, went home to be with the Lord on May 25, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Canton, Ohio on January 7, 1983 to Ingram Munford and Walter Singletery, Jr. she is the beloved mother of her (3) daughters, Asjianna, Aunesty and Aubree.  Ashley attended Canton City Schools and was a member of the Timken Senior High School band and flag team. She also attended Job Corp. and was currently enrolled at Stark State College pursuing her associates degree in nursing. Her nurturing ways and devotion for helping others was displayed through her employment as a nurse's aide for various homecare agencies and healthcare facilities in Canton and Columbus. Growing up in church, Ashley gave her life to the Lord at a young age and was a member of Pentecostal Temple C.O.G.I.C. where she sang in the choir as a child.  She was an incredible person and an excellent mother. She loved spending her time and energy with her daughters  Asjianna, Aunesty and Aubree who were THE LOVES OF HER LIFE, HANDS DOWN!!! A diva in her own right she was equally as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside, always "dressed to the nines" from head to toe she had a flare for fashion. She was even stunning in her work uniforms.  Ashley loved the Lord with all of her heart and His Glory was displayed in her everyday interaction with her loved ones. Her warm and gentle smile would light up the room and her laughter brought much joy to her family and friends. Ashley touched the lives of many and all who knew her will forever cherish her loving memory and humble spirit. She leaves to cherish her precious memory her devoted mother Ingram Munford; (3) beautiful daughters, Asjianna, Aunesty and Aubree; sister, LaToya Munford of Columbus, Ohio; brother, Walter Singletery III of Columbus, Ohio; father, Walter Singletery, Jr.; special friends, Jonette and Joyce as well as a host of other relatives.
