Arzalia Wilson affectionately known as "Zel", 76, went home to be with her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on September 8, 2023.  She was born November 21, 1946, in Birmingham, Alabama to George and Emma Thomas.

She was a dedicated member of Mt. Carmel Missionary Church where she served in many ministries including choir and Pastor's Aid.

She previously attended Akron Missionary Baptist Church for 21 years where she was a member of the choir.

Zel was preceded in death by her parents, twin sister Ardelia Foreman, brother Billy Eugene Thomas, stepparents Coner and Bessie Burroughs.

She leaves to forever cherish her loving memory, nephews Billy (Donnita), Eugene Thomas Jr. of Cincinnati, Ohio, Joe (Sue) Foreman of Springfield, Ohio, Domnique (Theresa) Clendenning and God Nephew Ty Foster.

Zel also leaves very dear friends, Cynthia "Kay" Duncan, Mary Smith, Maryalice Randle and Berniece Herring.

Sis. Herring and Zel affectionately called each other "Road Runner."
