Arvis C. Townsend "Backyard" Departed this life on May 31, 2019 at the age of 39 in Oberlin, Oh He was born to the Late Arvis Gory and Cindy Townsend in Cleveland OH and was a life time resident of Akron. Preceded in death by Father, Arvis Sr. He leaves to cherish his memory, Mother, Cindy Gory, Sisters; LaTonya, Elizabeth, Lakitha and Latisse; Daughters; Arviyona and Amere;  Fiance, Special friends Stubby and Bub Mitchell. Home going service will be held Sunday, June 16th, 2019, 2:00 pm at Rhoden Memorial Home, 1101 Palmetto Ave., Akron, OH 44306 where the family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until time of service.
