Our beloved Arthur "Art" T. Johnson transitioned from earthly to heavenly on June 8, 2022. He was born on August 16, 1947, in Tennille, Alabama, to the late Edna Lee (Frazier) Sanders and Arthur Liptrot Sr. Art was a proud graduate of McKinley Senior High School. After graduating, he served in the United States Army and then went on to work for 35 years at the Timken Roller Bearing Company. He was a hard-working, kind, and loving man who cherished his family. Art was preceded in death by his brother John Johnson and sister Annie (Charles) Gates. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Linda Johnson; sons Arthur (Nita) C. Johnson, Robert L. Johnson of Charlotte, NC, and Tony Martin of Green, OH; daughters, Crystal Martin, Tyra (Brandon) Long of Columbus, OH and Devonna Cutts of Canton, OH; brothers, James Johnson of Canton, OH and Danny Liptrot of Philadelphia, PA; sister, Carolyn Washington of Hopewell, VA; special niece, Carlesia Gates of Canton, OH, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Art was truly loved and will be deeply missed by many.
