On November 30, 2013 Arthur Ivey took a journey form earth into heaven at Akron City Hospital Palliative Care Center. Arthur was born in Union Springs, AL. to the late George and Pauline Ivey. He moved to Detroit, Michigan as a teen where he graduated from high school. He returned to Montgomery, AL. for a few years before moving to Akron, Ohio. He was employed by Lancer and he Akron Beacon Journal. Arthur was a very kind, loving, caring man who loved and adored family and friends. He was a wonderful person such a joy to be around.
He will truly be missed by his devoted daughter Angela Renee Fuller "Bryon"; sons, Christopher Ivey and Christopher Fuller. He also leaves to cherish his memories three grandchildren, Michael Fuller Jr., Chardanae Easter and Bryaizha Johnson; sisters Lovey M. Ross "Henry", Georgia Wimberly "William", Johnnie White, "Willie" and Mary Ivey; brother George Ivey; six brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law. Arthur lost his life long partner of 40 years, Bernice Fuller and son Michael Fuller just a year ago, so we now may have peace and understanding knowing that they are all together again.
