Aretha Drummond-Griggs, took her journey home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 4, 2018 peacefully in her sleep. She was born in Akron, Ohio on June 24, 1951 to the late Floyd Sr. and Ruby Mae Drummond. She was a faithful member of The House Of The Lord. She worked various jobs in her lifetime. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Griggs; parents, Floyd Sr. and Ruby Mae Drummond; 3 brothers; 10 sisters; 1 sister-in-law and 2 nephews. She leaves to cherish her loving memory her beloved brothers, Floyd (Gisselle) Drummond Jr., Eddie Ford and Eddie Lott all of Akron, Thomas Coleman of New York, MacArthur Coleman, Minzie Coleman and Jack Coleman all of York, Alabama; sister, Linda Jo (Jim) Hosey of Akron, Ohio; special thanks to her nieces and great niece, Carmen Payne, Lavitta Taylor and Sarda Mitchell for the wonderful care they gave her Thank you, and May God Bless you "Thank you Again" and a host of other family and friends.
