Annie R. Tucker, 86, passed away March 5, 2022.  She was born February 18, 1936 in Lafayette, AL to Will and Lorraine Owens.  She was a member of Elizabeth Baptist Church where she served on the Mother's Board and she also dedicated her time to many children in the area as a  Foster Grandparent. Annie is preceded in death by her parents; son, Dewayne Hammond; 7 brothers, 5 sisters; and best friends, Geraldine Ware and Ruth Harris. She leaves to cherish her memory sons, Darryl (Loretta) Owens and Jerome (Marcee) Hammond, both of Akron, OH; daughters, Cheryl Perry, Phyllis Owens and Donzella Hammond all of Akron, OH; sisters, Mary Lyle and Jeanette Owens both of Lafayette, AL; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, nieces nephews, other relatives and friends.
