Annie Pearl Mingo Shaw, 83, went home to be with the Lord on June 22, 2021 at Hospice Care Cleveland Clinic Compassionate Care Center, after a short illness. She was born on December 29, 1937 in Ennis, Texas to Eugene Jackson and Mary Lee Hardin. She was a resident of the Akron community since 1945. She was an Esthetician for 55 years, most of them as  private contractor/ business owner. She was a former member of Greater Bethel Baptist Church and later a member of The House of the Lord. Her favorite pastime was entertaining her family and watching TBN. Annie is preceded in death by her father, Eugene Jackson; mother, Mary Lee Bates; husband, Leonard T. Shaw; and step father, Frederick Douglas Bates. She leaves to cherish her loving memory, son, Anthony L. Mingo (Mi'chal) of Willoughby, OH, Raymond Mingo (Celena) of Erie, PA and Darrell Mingo (Debra) of Akron, OH; daughters, Ramona Robinson (Allan) and Mary Mingo-Knox both of Akron, OH; aunt, Verdale Jackson-Jones of Staffordton, TX; grandchildren, Tasha Knox, Jonathan Russell, Lauren Robinson, Alexandria Robinson, Fabian Dejournett Mingo, Mi'chalah Mingo, Dan'te and Asia Senter and Raven Burros; cousins, Pamela and Jamie Jones; and a host of other relatives and friends.
