Annie M. Blanks was born on November 16, 1937 in Warrenton, North Carolina to the late Sarah Patty Palmer-Harris and Henry Harris. Annie went home to Glory on January 10, 2021. After moving to Ohio with her sister Nancy Brandt in 1968 she gained employment in healthcare until she met the love of her life Mack Blanks, Sr.

Annie is preceded in death by both of her parents; her husband, Mack Blanks, Sr.; sister, Nancy Brandt; brother, John Henry Harris; granddaughter, Diamond Love; and nephew, Mack Harris.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her beloved son, James (Sheila) Harris; grandchildren; Vallery (Jesse) Little, Jamie, Lola, and Leroy (Yvette) Love; stepchildren, Mack, Jr., Gloria, Ruby and David Blanks; 29 great grandchildren, 40 great-great grandchildren; special nieces, Arlene, Bettie, and Deloyce; nephew, John, Jr. of North Carolina; cousins, Ida Ware, Carolyn Lee and Sarah Pat Dowdell; and a host of other relatives and friends.
