Anita Latrice May was the second child born on December 28, 1976, to James and Luegussie May. Anita departed this life on Thursday morning, May 23, 2024, at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital. She met and married Nathaniel Jones and to this union three boys were born, Kaa'ri, Noble and Brad all of Akron, Ohio.

Anita joined accepted Christ at an early age and worked on the junior and senior usher board at Greater Bethel Baptist Church. She graduated from High School and received her bachelor's degree in nursing.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory, parents, James and Luegussie May; sons, Kaa'ri, Noble and Brad; one brother, James A. May; three grandchildren, Jaya, Layla and Karnaraa' Lera-Latrice; best friends, Latonya Johnson and Demerius Max; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
