Angelo F. Jones-Thomas, lll, 11 years old, passed away unexpectedly on August 25, 2024. Angelo was born on October 26, 2012, in Akron, Ohio to his mother, Chereliah Lindsey and his late father, Angelo "Gig" Jones, Jr. Angelo has just started school this year as a 6th grader at Capstone Academy.

For the past four and a half years Angelo resided in a long-term care facility named Hattie Larlham in Mantua, Ohio. He suffered from a traumatic brain injury during birth which led to his severe disability. Even though Angelo had this disability it did not stop him from enjoying the little things in life that we may have taken for granted. He enjoyed many things such as long walks on a nice summer day, listening to music, cartoon shows, head and belly rubs, long talks, cuddling, exercising his muscles, and playing outside at the park.

His mother who loved him dearly did everything she could to help him have a safe and better life. She was inspired by her son Angelo to go to respiratory school and graduated in hopes to provide the best care for him and bring him home permanently, but that journey of him coming home was ceased.

Angelo was the sweetest little boy you could have known; he absolutely loved his family and social gatherings. His soul was pure and filled with love. He fought a long fight with the life he was given and now he is one of God's beautiful Angels in Heaven.

He will be heavily missed by many. There will be eternal grief, so please keep the family in great prayers. Angelo has gained his wings and is now free from any suffering. We truly love you Angelo, forever in our hearts, memories and life.

Angelo is preceded in death by his father, Angelo "Gig" Jones, Jr.; great grandparents, Delores and William Jones; Sarah Gulley (Munchie), Ms. Gracie and Jessie.
