Angeline Deloris Hatchett Born in Canton, Ohio December 13, 1934 to Gordon and Maybell McCloud, she was a lifetime resident. She was employed at the Timken Company for 19 ½ years, and took early retirement in 1982. To keep busy she later took a job at Society Bank (Key Bank), where she worked until she was injured and no longer able to work. She was baptized in Jesus name and filled with the Holy Ghost in 1946 at Bethel Apostolic Church. She remained a member there for most of her life. She served on many auxiliaries and committees. What she loved to do most of all was raise money for the church. She also loved being in church and serving God. If you ever wanted to hear about a true love story: Angeline and Deacon Emeritus Owen Hatchett had a love so true. If you have ever heard the expression "two peas in a pod", well they had a love so strong that they were "one pea in a pod". The love was so strong that she joined Owen exactly fourteen days to the day. Dad passed away, Tuesday, April 7, 2015 and Mom went on to be with the Lord and her beloved sweetheart of over 40 years Deacon Emeritus Owen Hatchett on Tuesday, April 21, 2015. Angeline was also preceded in death by her mother Maybell and father Gordon McCloud, four sisters; Anna Ruth, Alice Mae Wright, Arvilla (McCloud) Spears, Betty (McCloud) Singletary, Maybell (McCloud) Meriweather, two brothers; Lester Wright McCloud and John Gordon McCloud, one stepdaughter whom she adored, Janise (Hatchett) Williams; nieces, Shelia McCloud, Jacqueline Smith; her two favorite sons- in- law Macy Gray, Jr. and John Britton. Survived to cherish her loving memory her most treasured of gifts from God Allita (Gray) Britton and Sadiq Andre (Layla) Hughes, Stepchildren; Owen (Ming Ji) Hatchett Jr., Harriet (Willie Suggs) Spaulding, Vince (Jewell) Hatchett, Chris (Xavier) Hatchett and their families, 18 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 19 great great grandchildren, among the grandchildren; Janel (Lennie) Lytle, Anish (Tony) Grimes, Brian Hughes, Cedric Hughes, Brian and Bre'Auna Gray, Kim Covington, Jason Covington, Pier Glover, Anasa Spaulding, Jeannette Spaulding, Raymond Sales, Monika Higgins, Ashley Hatchett, Vincent (April) Hatchett II, great grandchildren; Cedric Hughes Jr., Mercedes Hughes, D'Andre Davis, Aaron, Shalina, Chris, Thomas and Jermaine Covington, amongst great great grandchildren, Zaria and Zavier Parker, Ashira and Aria Fowler, Colita Hughes, Robert, Samuel and Angel Thompson, Emory Grimes, Dorian Thomas, Robert Lawson, King Covington, Kahris Williams, Tanija Covington, Ariana Hatchett, Avin Hatchett, NaTalyah Hatchett, Teah Hatchett and Jordan Hatchett; god daughters, Karissa Hogan, Kara McCune, Brittany and Carla Lemon; special cousins, Jerome (Maxine) McCloud, Juan (Amy) McCloud; special daughters, Marlena Shellow , Deloris Glover, Norma Hunter, Ramona Payne, and their families; special nurse, Demetra Ross, amongst their special friends Deacon Edward "Butch" (Mary) Smith, Deacon Willie (Robin) Lemon, Deacon Earnest and Evangelist Lucinda Andrews and Wanda Louise Wilson. God forbid we forget anyone, please charge it to our minds and not our hearts. She also leaves to mourn a host of other grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
