Angela D. Shadie, 58, went home to be with the Lord on April 5, 2016. She was born in Akron, Ohio on October 13, 1957 to her parents Jacob Shadie and Florida Grant. She is preceded in death by her parents. She leaves to celebrate her life her companion Johnny Dorsey; daughters, Nakea "Nikki" Shadie, Tia Ping-Ruple (Reuben) and  Teisha Travis ;  brothers, Rodney (Victoria), Gary (Tnetta) and  Michael (Stephanie) Shadie, and Alonzo, Alfonzo, Terry and Larry Grant; sister, Kim (Vincent) Waldron; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Rhoden Memorial Home 1101 Palmetto Ave. Akron, Ohio 44306. Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of service.
