Alice Roberson, affectionately known as "Sista," earned her heavenly wings on September 14, 2023.  Her beautiful soul blessed us with her presence for 76 years.

She was born in Hardenman, Tennessee to Mamie and Yumus Roberson on August 11, 1947.    Alice moved to Ohio with her parents at the tender young age of 3 years old where she attended    Barberton and Akron Public Schools. She never had children, but she adopted her niece and nephew as her own and their children as her grandchildren.  Alice went on to work at Quaker Square and Children's Hospital where she retired after 20 years of service.  In quiet time, she loved to spend it quietly reading her favorite novels, cooking and baking for her family and friends.  Alice was also a fashionista, she loved clothes, shoes and accessories as well as traveling and going to the casinos.  When we were younger, she would get the nieces together and we would have a girl's night of cooking and baking cookies while we enjoyed the stores from inserts of her diary.  She was laid back, fun loving and very kind.  Auntie will be forever in our hearts and greatly missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents; Mamie and Yumus Roberson, siblings; Robert (Essie) Robertson, Charles, Leroy, Willie, John, Ray and Lula Mae Roberson.

Alice leaves to mourn her departure from this life loving sister; Ann Roberson, adopted daughter; Latora Roberson, adopted son; Orlando Roberson, best friends; Arnita Hubbard and Mary Singletary and a host of nieces, nephews' family and friends.
