Alice Ruth Brown Gregory, age 94 passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2017 in Canton, Ohio.  She was born August 6, 1922 in Atlanta, Georgia to Austin and Inell Alexander Brown.  She graduated from Clark College in Atlanta in 1939, majoring in home economics.  She married S.W. Gregory on May 28, 1946.  They later moved to Canton, Ohio were they raised a family.  She taught grades 2nd and 3rd in the Canton school district for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents. She is survived by sons: Michael Gregory of Massillon, Ohio and Scott D. Gregory of Wooster, Ohio: sisters Bessie Rounsaville and Inell Lowery both of Atlanta, Georgia: and brother-in-laws Ronald (Ann) Gregory of Durham, NC and John Gregory of New York, NY, as well as many other relatives,
