Alfonzo Dozier (AL) 80, passed away Sunday October 6, 2013. He was born June 2, 1933 in Gadsden Alabama to the late Olen and Inez Dozier. Alfonzo played the saxophone at Caver High School in Gadsden, AL. He served in the United State Army for three years. He was a technician assistant at the Arlington Veterinary Clinic for 55 1/2 years. Alfonzo loved animals (puff) and loved to tap dance. He was a member of Faith Temple Church. He was a very stylish man and a loving husband and father.
Preceded in death by his parents and sister Bobbie Lee Dozier. He is survived by wife Gloria Dozier; children, Alfonzo Dozier Jr., Anthony (Jessica) Wharton, Reginald (Shauna) Mathews, Cedrick Mathews, Elaine Dozier, Ricardo Mathews, James Spencer, Deborah Mathews, Karen Thomas and Aaron Mathews; brother Eugene Dozier; sister Juanita (James) Martin; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren; nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
