Alan Pierce Henson, 75, transitioned to his heavenly home on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 after a lengthy illness. He was born on March 14,1947 to the late Rev. Paul and Doris Henson.

Alan accepted the Lord at a young age.  He was a 1964 graduate of Central High School.  He was an Army veteran and worked in the grocery industry until his retirement. He enjoyed sports, especially football, basketball and baseball.

He was preceded in death by his parents Rev. Paul and Doris Henson, brother Larry Henson, sisters Myra Higgins, Wanda Mann, and Barbara Henson. He leaves to cherish his memory: his sister, Cheryl Ferguson of San Diego, CA and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
