VIRGINIA P. (HARRIS) JOHNSON

Virginia P. Johnson , age 73,went home to be with the Lord on September 10, 2019.  She was the first born of 20 from the union of the late Flora Mae Barnes and Emmitt Harris. Virginia was an avid football fan. She also loved to decorate and to spin. Virginia wore many hats in her family, with her vibrant personality and warm smile, she enjoyed helping anyone in need, never complaining, she always had a kind word for all who encountered her. Virginia had a way of making everyone feel special and anyone who knew her knew that her daughters and her grandchildren were her world. Virginia was one of a kind, with a heart of gold and she will be deeply missed.

Preceded in death by (2) sisters, Barbara Harris-Solomon, Lena Roberts; (2) brothers, Leo Cole and Sego Harris and best friend, Jackie Johnson. 

She leaves to cherish her precious memory her (2) daughters, Norma Torrence, Roszetta (Albert) Spells; (1) grandson, Pirree Harris; (1 ) great– granddaughter, Q’Lina Harris; (2) special grandchildren, Jah’naszia Calhoun and Jahiem Calhoun; siblings: Willie R. (Karen) Roberts, Willie B. Roberts, Ronnie L. Williams all of Canton, Ohio, William Harris, Bennie Lee Harris , Kim R. (Carolyn) Harris, Napoleon  (Loretta) Harris, Andrew Harris all of Albany, Georgia, Edna Harris-Davis of Atlanta, Georgia, Roxanne Harris-Carter, Minister Rosa Harris both of Albany, Georgia, Ella Harris, Valerie (Minister C.B.) Fields  all of Canton, Ohio, Juanita Stedman of Akron, Ohio; godson, Marvin Johnson; special friends, Lynn Walker, Byrdie Owens, and Mary Hall.
