Thomas, affectionately known as “Pop” was the only child born to the late Aubry and Eva Webb in Dyer County, Tennessee on January 26, 1926. On April 29, 2018, he was called from earthly labor to his heavenly reward.
Thomas did most of his growing up in Dyer County, where he learned the craft of woodworking and mechanical skills such as making furniture and false teeth. At an early age (17), he joined the U.S. Armed Forces serving in the Army and served his country during World War II and the Korean War. He was a previous home improvement business owner, and a truck driver.
Thomas Webb became a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-great grandfather. He will be remembered by his powerful prayers on Sunday mornings when he served as a Deacon.
Preceded in death by his parents, Thomas “Pop” leaves to cherish his precious memory, his sons, Thomas “Sonny” (Vicki) Webb of Columbus, OH; Leonard (Erica) Harrington of Tampa, FL, Reginald (Lisa) of Olive Branch, Miss., and daughter, Shearon Webb of Tampa, FL and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives , his church family and many dear friends.
