Myrtle Eleanor Williams passed peacefully on February 22, 2019. Myrtle was born April 7, 1935in Chicago, Illinois to the late Paul and Josephine Edwards.
Myrtle lived in Canton for the past 70 plus years and became well known for not only owning Chilis Lounge but as being a “Classy, Sophisticated Woman” who was loved and respected by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her step-mother Lucille Edwards; grandparents, Clarence and Myrtle Edwards; son, William H. “Lil Chili” Williams, Jr.; sisters, Shirley (Robert Earl) Williams, Marion (Sonny) Wallace, and niece, Michelle (Michael) Freeman.
She leaves to cherish her memory (2) children, Delivia “DeDe” Williams, Monica (Allen) Williams-Bond; (6) grandchildren, Tammi Williams, Billy Williams, Bianca Clayton, Isaiah Williams, Israel Williams, and Henderson Garner, Jr.; (5) great-grandchildren, Zaniah Williams, Marleigh Curtis, Shamar Green, Brooklyn Williams, Keyonte Williams; special friends, Lena Fontes, Chris Smith, Theresa Sanchez, Gloria Leonard, Lonnie Mathis, John L. Jones, Meldora Gibson and Tyrone “CoJack” Nance as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
