Michelle Blanche Freeman, born to the late H.T. and Marion Wallace, on March 22, 1961, in Canton, Ohio. Michelle graduated from McKinley High School in 1980 and was most recently employed by the Canton City School Transportation Department, which she truly enjoyed! Michelle accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Jerusalem Baptist Church in Canton, Ohio. She was united in holy matrimony to Michael Leonard Freeman on August 5, 2000. Loved by everyone she came in contact with, Michelle had an infectious, warm, no-nonsense personality! Her affinity for God’s creatures was unrivaled. No one loved animals and children quite as much as she did, and she didn’t mind telling you…and we all loved Michelle for it! Michelle was a strong disciplinarian and was passionate about things being kept in their place. So much so, she could have been the poster child for the “Good Housekeeping “ seal. There are so many memories of the good times we’ve shared. One priceless memory, is with her son Scottie. She once put Scottie on punishment for two months and forgot about it. After the two months had passed her husband Michael asked, “Michelle, what did he do, murder somebody? How long is he going to be on punishment? She also was very protective of Scottie. The first time he played football he hurt his leg and she never allowed him to play again. She was a loving and kindhearted person and no one harbored any ill feelings towards her. Michelle will never be any further from us than a story that we can share. Thoughts of Michelle will live in our hearts forever. Michelle slipped away from us on Friday, March 2, 2018, at Aultman Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents: H.T. and Marion Wallace. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband and best friend Michael L. Freeman; (2) sons, Gregory S, Minor, II and Michael L Freeman II; (5) sisters, Deborah Torrence, Pamela (Otis) Trotter, Otha Howard, Carlotta (Sterling ) Winn, Peggy (Henry) Kirksey, Ronda (Morris) Polk; in-laws, Ronda (Douglas ) James, Karen (Daniel) Freeman, Tracie D.
