LEANDER "BUTCH" BURROS

Leander “Butch” Burros, 71, affectionately called Paw Paw by many, transitioned from his earthly home on April 26, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Akron, Ohio on April 13, 1947 to the late Andy and Winnell  Burros. He retired from Shelly & Sands Construction with over 33 years of    service. He was a member of Greater Bethel Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, and spending time with his family……especially his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Andy and Winnell Burros; father-in-law, R.L. Polk, Sr. and his brother, Robert Burros. 
He leaves to cherish his loving memories, the love of his life, Ann, with whom he shared 50 years of marriage. He will be dearly missed by his sons, Marlin (LaTasha) Burros of Florida, Harold (Elizabeth), Johnny Brown and Maurice (Carla) Mundy, all of Akron, OH; son-in-law, Russell Goler; daughters, Candace (Derrick) Adams, LaToya Burros (Ronnie Smith) and Tameka Burros, all of   Akron, OH); brothers, Wenddell Burros of Akron, OH and Steve (Sherri) Burros of South Carolina; sisters, Brenda (Charles) Boyd, Paulette Burros, both of    Texas, Kathryn Colwell of North Carolina and Ruby Coleman of Akron, OH; special aunts, Jean Radcliff and Evangelist Beverly Yokley; sisters-in-laws, Ruth Patterson and Janet (Robert Williams) both of Akron, OH; brothers-in-laws, R.L. (Dana) Polk Jr. of Virginia, Ernest (Nellie) Polk of Texas, Larry (Mildred)   Saulsberry of Tennessee, Ellis (Carla) Polk and Timmy (Gwen) Rogers both of Akron, OH. Paw Paw will be greatly missed by his 23 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Many special people in his life……JoAnn Reed, Courtney Colwell, (CJ) Clay Johnson, Mike Williams and a host of other family and friends.
