GaVonte Darell Jones, age 25, went home to be with the Lord on August 26, 2017. He was born December 10, 1991 in Canton, Ohio to Yvonna  Armstrong and Dante Jones.

GaVonte was preceded in death by his grandmother Vanessa M. Walker and grandfather Larry H. Bennett.  He leaves to cherish his memory his children: GaVonte, Jr., GaVayia,  GaMyia, and GaNyia Jones all of Canton, Ohio;  mother, Yvonna Armstrong of Canton, Ohio; father, Dante (Trazell) Jones of Houston, Texas; step-mother, Lenette Jones; siblings,  Kenyonna Porter, Neveah Hayes, Azia Armstead, Errika Armstead, TraRese Sanders, Christopher Jones, Thomas Jones “Redd”, Dante D. Jones II “Fatz”, and D’Ante N. Jones; fiancé, Charmika Grimes; step-children, Thomas and Austin Taylor; grandparents, Sibrena Jones of Canton, Ohio, Betty Lou Armstrong of Canton, Ohio, Lavurnes Walker “Ace”, N.L.
