EASTERN STAR DAY

Eastern Star Day, age 36, passed away unexpectedly on  January 3, 2019 at Mercy Medical Center.  He was born in Canton, Ohio to the late Starlett Ywvette (Bethune) and  Robert Day, Sr.  No matter what he went through in life he always had a smile on his face.  He had a big heart and would help anyone.  He always stayed humble and he loved his children and extended family. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his great grandmother Guy Esther Echols; grandmothers, Georgie Mae Bethune; Joan Ruth Trammell; sister, Samara Nechet Day;  loving parents, John W. and Lurene Lilly. He is  survived by (3) daughter,  A-kaia Samara Baker, Mina Amara Ywvette Day and Meela Amira Nichole Day; (4) siblings, Deshawn Bethune, Shanae (Neil) Barnett, Andre Bethune and Robert Day, Jr.; special mother, Chele Hardy; step-dad, James Parker;  special cousins Jasmine and LaTerra; great friends, Akarius Myers and Deon Johnson as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
