Danté Lamont Hill, affectionately known as “ChuckyBelly", transitioned peacefully on Saturday, October 19th, 2019. He was born May 7, 1979 to Cynthia and Rufus Hill in Canton, Ohio, and he remained a resident of Canton his entire life.
Danté attended Timken Senior High School, and he graduated from GlenOak High School in 1997. He became a licensed barber after completing his coursework at Akron Barber College. Amongst his many accolades, he acquired a certification in phlebotomy from Stark State College. If he wasn't cutting hair or designing t-shirts, Danté could usually be found watching the ID channel. His television never left Investigation Discovery channel unless it was time to watch the Cleveland Browns or the Ohio State Buckeyes play. Danté was a kind and compassionate person who would give his last to a stranger. His mischievous grin and dry sense of humor will be forever missed by all who knew and loved him.
Danté was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Viola and John Bush, Sr. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Cynthia J. Young of Canton, OH, and Rufus W. (Sharon) Hill of East Dublin, GA; son, Danté L. Hill, Jr.; brother, Darrick "Tooter" Hill; special friend, Keshia Holloway, (4)nephews, (1) niece, and a host of other relatives and friends.
