Clarence “Shawn” Crosby was born October 23, 1968 to the late Jerrell “Tee” Backie Shipman. He was a graduate of Timken High School and completed two years of college. Shawn was a big fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. He loved his family dearly and was very special to all of his nephews, in which they looked up to him as a father figure and big brother to his niece Tesha. Shawn’s heart was broken after the loss of his daughter Heaven Marie Crosby on November 25, 2017. His heart was bruised and his health began to decline from the loss of his mother and many other loved ones. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Joanne; son, Brandon; (4) sisters, Marcella, Roxanne, Lesa (Ivan), and Robin Shipman; his father, Clarence Crosby; nieces, Tesha, Monique, Arryn, Sophia, and Kara; nephews, Deneral, Justin, Cortney, Kevaughn, Eric, Perry, and Brandon Nance of Houston, Tx. ; special childhood friends, Phillip Parker and Andre Brunner; special sister-in-law, Michelle as well as a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, and other relatives.
