On June 18, 2016, God saw fit to call home one of his own, Roxanne "Beanie" LeGrair.
Roxanne Adrienne LeGrair was born in Akron on April 29, 1953.
She was educated in Akron Public Schools and attended the University of Akron.
She worked at Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital, retiring in 2008.
Roxanne was best known for Cheerleading, it was one of her passions.
She was a Cheerleading Coach for the East Pee Wees, a Director and a League Commissioner of the Akron Parent Pee Wee League.
Roxanne was the founder and President of the East Oriental Alumni Association which provides assistance to the students of East C.L.C.
Roxanne was a member of Phillips Chapel C.M.E. Church where she was the Director of the Youth and Young Adults. She was also a member of the Gospel Choir and on the Kitchen Committee. She was a member of the Ambassadors for Christ Women’s Bible Study.
Roxanne was a social butterfly, and enjoyed being the life of the party. She will be missed.
Roxanne was preceded in death by her father, Richard LeGrair. She leaves to cherish her memory- mother, Zoletta Jean Jones, daughter, Phaedra LeGrair-Jackson, grandson Elishah Rhassan Jackson, granddaughter Kyah Monique Harris. Brothers: James (Elnora) Stevens, Bart (Teresa) LeGrair, Todd (Tracie) LeGrair. Sisters Rev. Sheree (Colin) Winn, Renee LeGrair. She also leaves to mourn aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
