Jerrold Allen Marshall, Sr., age 47, passed away suddenly on Friday, July 12, 2013 in Canton, OH.  He was born August 20, 1965 to the late James Fletcher and Barbara Jean Stokes-Marshall.

Jerrold was a 1985 graduate of Glen Oak high school.  He was a respectful, loyal and kindhearted person - a great husband; and a great father.  Jerrold was also a hard worker.  He enjoyed doing his roofing and tree cutting business.  His favorite football teams were the Cleveland Browns and the Philadelphia Eagles.  Fishing trips with his sons were not only a time of fun but also a time of bonding.  Music of all kinds played a big role in his life, but Rock and Roll was his favorite.  Jerrold was an        excellent guitar player; and he enjoyed the song, “Every Rose Has its Thorn.”
Jerrold is preceded in death by his parents and his grandmother, the late Mattie Lou Stokes (who helped raise him after the death of his mother).
Jerrold is survived by his loving wife, Terri Marshall; 3 sons, Jerrold Marshall, Jr., Terrell and Canaan Yeager; 3 daughters, Faie, Trisha and Farrah Yeager; 8 brothers, Donnie “Ricky”, Tyrone and Gary Marshall, Kenneth “Duke” and Vince “Stevebo” (Stephanie) Williams, all of    Canton, OH, Glenn Williams of Tallahassee, FL, Mark Marshall of Cleveland, OH and Eric (Becky) Street of Carrollton, OH; 1 sister, Monica (Gary) Clark  of Youngstown, OH; 1 uncle, Richard Stokes, Sr.; and 1 aunt, Shirley Stokes—Johnson; 13 grandchildren; his loving dog, Conan; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.
