Jerome L. Drummond Sr. was born on November 23, 1962 in Akron, Ohio to Mason Harmon Jr. and the late Hattie Mae (Drummond) Hill. He graduated from East High School in Akron, Ohio and went on to serve our country in the United States Army .

He resided in Canton for over 20 years.  Jerome retired from the City of Akron as a brick mason. He also worked for the United States Post Office, where he met his wife Cheryle. Jerome was a member of Greater Bethel Apostolic Church where he served as an usher, a choir member and also a member of the brotherhood.

Jerome loved everything to do with music, even singing with a quartete: the Soldiers of the Cross.  Jerome was a self proclaimed chef, best known for his pasta dishes and barbeque.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Drummond. He leaves to cherish his memory,  his loving wife of 16 years, Cheryle (McClain) Drummond  of Canton, OH;  his father; 5   brothers, Jeff Harmon, Derrick (Lynn) Harmon, Keith Drummond, Ramone Drummond, and Deon Drummond; 2 sisters: DeOnna (Richard) Devone, and Carmen Cooper all of Akron, Ohio; 3 children: Chanelle Drummond, Jerome Drummond Jr. and Jozlin Drummond, all of Akron, Ohio;  2 Stepchildren: Jevon (Tarina) Alston and Lajuana (Allen) Henderson; 4 grandchildren: Armoni Crayon, Saniah McCoy,  Robert McCoy, Jailah Drummond; Mother in Law (mom): Hortense Larsuel;  Special Uncle: Eddie Drummond, of Akron, Ohio, and a host of other relatives, friends and church family.
